Kano Governor Makes Ten Fresh Appointments Of Parastatal Heads

The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of 10 new Heads of Parastatals.

The appointments were made in the Governor's effort to place capable hands to improve governance.

As contained in a statement on Wednesday by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor's spokesperson, all the appointments are with immediate effect.

According to Dawakin Tofa, the Governor charged the appointees to bring their wealth of experience to the table. 

He also urged them to work diligently in serving the people of Kano and justify the confidence reposed in them.

The appointees include:

"1. Hon. Salisu A. Kabo, Director General, Youth Empowerment

"2. Dr. Hamisu Sadi Ali, Director General, Debt Management Office

"3. Abduljabbar Mohammed Umar, Director General, KAN-INVEST 

"4. Yusuf Kabir Gaya, Executive Chairman, SUBEB

"5. Mustapha Adamu Indabawa, Managing Director, Abubakar Rimi Television (ARTV)

"6. Hamisu Dogon Nama, Managing Director, Kantin Kwari Market

"7. Abdulkadir B. Hussain, Managing Director, Sabon Gari Market

"8. Dr Kabiru Sani Magashi, Acting Managing Director, KASCO

"9. Aminu Aminu Mai-Famfo, Deputy Managing Director, KASCO

"10. Engr, Abubakar Sadiq J. Deputy Managing Director, Kano Line"
