Kano: NSCDC Partners Navy To Strengthen Security

Kano Command of the Nigerian Securing and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC says it will maintain its cordial relationship with the Nigerian Navy to enhance security of lives and properties in the state.

The State NSCDC Commandant, Idris Adamu Zakaria revealed this when the Commandant, Nigerian Navy Logistics College Dawakin Tofa, Cdr. Usman Mainasara Bugaje paid him a courtesy call on Friday.

He mentioned that aside the People's prayers, synergy between security agencies is playing an important role in maintaining peace of the state.

"I am so happy to receive you and the NSCDC is delighted to tap a lot from the college's resources," he revealed.

Speaking earlier, the Navy College Commandant, Mainasara Bugaje stressed the need for the NSCDC and the Navy to share information and intelligence reports that will lead to the defeat of criminals in the state.

He also mentioned that the College which was until recently located in Abis functions as a monotechnic training Navy personnel and awarding National Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, and Technology Management.

Mainasara Bugaje also mentioned that it is duly registered with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
