The Coordinator said that the Ahmadu Bello Stadium being owned by the Federal Government, the Sai Masu Gida are entitled to use it for its camping and home matches at the forthcoming CAF Confederation cup.

He also assured that the Minister for youths and sports would give all the necessary assistance to ensure that the stadium remains up to the required standard before the kickoff of the competition.

“Let me remind you that Kaduna is your home and we are ready to ensure that the Confederation of African Football, CAF, approved the Ahmadu Bello Stadium for your continental engagements," Abdullahi stated.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the National Champions, Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Yahaya Jambul said they were in his office to submit their request and seek the blessings of the Federal Government through the Ministry of youths and sports to allow the Pride of Kano use the famous stadium as its adopted home for the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup.
