Kano Promises Support For Para Sport Athletes To Clinch Vict

The chairman, Kano State sports commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, has urged the state contingent to be patient, committed and dedicated to making the state proud in this first edition of national Para game.

Galadima made the call during his visit to the accommodation allocated to the athletes in Abuja over the weekend, as he expressed satisfaction with how the players are living.

Kano will participate in almost all eleven events that include: Amputee football, Deaf football, Para soccer, Para swimming, Taeckwando, Deaf athletics, power lifting, Para shooting, Para athletics, Para karate and Para table tennis.

He promised the state government's support and improved welfare to help the players win their games.

The Chairman also urged private organizations and individuals to invest in sports to boost its activities in Kano, and the country at large.
