The Kano State Executive Council has approved the renaming of the Kano State University of Science and Technlogy (KUST), Wudil to Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, ADUST, Wadil.
The state commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, revealed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday.
In the statement dated Saturday, May 27, 2020, the development followed recommendation by the university’s visitation panel.
NUC had given approved full accreditation of 21 Undergraduate Programs at KUST.
He stated that institution is now to be called Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUST), Wudil.
