The residents of Kumbotso local government area in Kano discovered a woman's dead body in an uncompleted building and were thrown into shock, early Sunday morning.
It was reported that children playing the hide and seek game in the area noticed the fresh blood in an abandoned building and raised an alarm, calling the attention of the adults in the area.
The community went into shock as they found the dead body of the unidentified woman wrapped in a sack in the building.
It was reported by the residents in the area that this is not the first time the community has witnessed such an incident as it was revealed that the uncompleted building has become a criminal hideout in the area.
The Police Public Relations Officer of Kano Command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed that the police have swung into action to find out those behind the act.
