Kano Saves 72 Lives From Inferno

Kano State Fire Service has saved 72 lives from fire cases within the state in the last month.

Spokesman of the service, Saminu Abdullahi who disclosed this on Friday in Kano added that it also saved property worth N210 million from 90 fire incidents.

He said eight persons died in the incidences, while property worth N52.6 million was lost to the fire incidents in the first month of 2023.

The Fire Service responded to 47 distress calls and 14 false alarms in the same month, he stated and advised residents to handle fire with utmost care to avoid infernos.
