AbdulMalik Tanko, and the victim Hanifa Abubakar
Kano State Government has announced the suspension of the operational licenses of all private schools until they are vetted.
Commissioner for Education, Sanusi Said Kiru made the announcement during a press conference.
This is in response to the killing of a 5-year-old Noble Kids pupil, Hanifa Abubakar by her teacher, Abdulmalik Tanko.
He said a special committee would be set up to assess the schools and come up with measures to be used in assessing schools in the state, adding that all schools that do not meet the new requirements will not be reopened.
