Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State
The State Commissioner for women Affairs and social development Dr. Zahra'u Muhammad Umar has said the state government has resolved to continue to improve the living standard of orphans in the state.
The Commissioner state this while conducting annual Children's Day celebration at Government house.
A statement signed by Bahijja Malam kabara, the spokesperson of the ministry of Women Affairs quoted the commissioner as commending the Abdullahi Umar Ganduje administration for the support rendered to the ministry for women Affairs and social development.
She then appreciated the commitment of the donor partners and all the stakeholders that contribute for the betterment of the state childrens.
The Commissioner and permanent secratery of the ministry, Amina Aminu Kano, presented an Award of Excellence to Professor Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on behalf of Orphans of Nassarawa Children's Home.
