Karu Council Chair Appoints 49 Aides, 11 Assign Portfolios 

The Chairman of Karu Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, Hon. James Thomas, has appointed additional forty-nine (49) aides, with only eleven (11) assigned portfolios. 

This was contained in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Communications, Umar Suleiman Gurku on Wednesday in Karu.

Gurku stated that the appointment was with immediate effect. 

Thirteen persons were appointed as Special Assistants while the remaining thirty-six were to serve the council chairman as personal assistants for effective service delivery. 

Appointed as Special Assistants include Mamuda Tijani, Hassan Ekpo, Christopher Musa, Joseph Usman, Alhaji Tata, Solomon Haruna and Idris Musa. 

Others are Gaskiya Auta, Abdullahi Bissala, Bulus Auta and Ahmed Bala without portfolios while only Joshua Dakuru and Alhaji Atiku Musa were assigned portfolios as Special Assistants on Christian and Islamic Affairs respectively. 

The personal assistants made up of seven (7) on media namely Waillam Monday, Adamu Garba, Sadam Suleiman, Tanimu Namama, Emmanuel Barnabas, Ishaku A. Madaki and Lazarus Awuya. 

Other Personal Assistants are Maikasuwa Magaji (Disabilities), David Yakubu Duwari (IDP), Mohammed Bawa, Elisha Peter, Bitrus Kwanyiwo, Mary David, Maikasuwa Fuche, Rashida Ahmed, Hosea Mark, Iliya Danladi, Usama Abdullahi Abubakar.

Also, Ishaya Bitrus, Suleiman Danko, Danladi Jezhi, Philip John, Murtala Ladan, David Kumbo, Ben Abati, Surajo Adamu, Joshua Dio, Mohammed Lawal, Gwargada Saka, Musa Baba, Aliyu Sale, Micheal Kure, Khadija Usman, Nanza Emmanuel, Mohammed Munur and Abdul’rauff Zakari. 

They were advised to proceed to the Office of the Council Secretary, Hon. Utoh Vakpa Danladi for their appointment letters. 

The council Chairman had two months ago appointed nine (9) persons as Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs).
