Senator Iyorchia Ayu,
Some members of the Ogun State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who are loyalists of late Senator Buruji Kashamu have raised an alarm over an alleged plot to jettison the consent judgement.
The group alleged that there was a plot to circumvent the consent judgement which resolved the protracted factionalisation of the party in the state.
The members bared their minds in a petition addressed to Iyorchia Ayu, the party's national chairman and signed by two members of the group, Abiola Adetola and Ademola Nasir.
The petition was titled, Ogun PDP consent judgement is sacrosanct, violation is contempt of court.
The group in the petition threatened that if Ayu and other members of the National Working Committee failed to quickly address the alleged plot, it may renew factional crisis between the rival groups.
The party had been divided into two factions before the death of Kashamu, a former senator of Ogun East Senatorial district, but was resolved through a consent judgement.
The PDP members claimed that some chieftains promoting the aspiration of a federal lawmaker and one of the House of Representatives aspirants were behind the plot to circumvent the consent judgment.
