Katsina State Government has on Saturday evening announced the reopening of all filling stations and cattle markets which were earlier closed down in the state.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Muhammad Inuwa, and made available to the public by his media spokesman, Abdullahi Yar’adua on Saturday, the Governor of the state, Aminu Masari approved the reopening of the fuel stations and cattle markets.
The Governor also warned that the government would not hesitate to re-enact the closure if a resurgence of any dubious activity was noticed.
The state had earlier announced the closure of some of the markets in September 2021, as a measure to tackle insecurity and banditry in the state.
