Kebbi Governor Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Late Abdulkadir

The Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the Late Alhaji Haliru Sarki Abdulkadir in Shiyar Fada of Birnin Kebbi. 

The governor who was accompanied on the visit on Friday by key government officials, offered his sympathy and support to the grieving family. 

The deceased who was a former Director of Finance under the Local Government Service Commission, died at the age of 74. 

The deceased is survived by three wives and 34 children, including the wife of the governor, Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris.

The governor said the deceased left a void not only within his family but also within the state and the nation at large.

Governor Idris expressed his condolences, emphasizing that the loss was deeply felt by the entire state and the nation. 

He prayed for the departed soul to find eternal peace in Jannatul Firdaus and prayed Allah forgives his shortcomings.

During the condolence visit, the governor was received at the family residence by his Chief of Staff, Barrister Attahiru Maccido and other family members. 

As contained in a statement on Friday by Aliyu Bandado Argungu, new media aide to the governor, "Dr. Nasir Idris was accompanied on the condolence visit by his Deputy, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi, State APC Chairman Alhaji Abubakar Kana Zuru, Chairman Argungu Local Government, Hon. Salihu Ahmad KC, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant, Alhaji Abubakar Chika Garkuwan Kaura, Alhaji Zayyanu Shehu Sanka Majidadin Kaura, and Alhaji Kabiru Labbo Jega."
