Tiwa Savage and Father
Nigerian music sensation Tiwa Savage has remembered her dad on the occasion of his first posthumous birthday.
This comes a day after the singer celebrated her 42nd birthday in grand style.
On Sunday, the singer took to her Instagram story to share a photo of herself and her late father.
She wished her dad a happy birthday, noting that it was his first absence from his birthday.
The 42-year-old mother of one added that she loves and misses him.
"Today is the first time you have not been here on your birthday daddy. Happy birthday King. I love you and miss you. Keep resting in perfect peace Savy T'eko," Tiwa wrote.
Tiwa Savage lost her dad on July 19, 2021. While mourning him on her Instagram, she revealed that he transitioned in the early morning of that day.
