Keke Palmer, Darius Jackson Welcome First Child

29-year-old Hollywood star Keke Palmer has announced the arrival of her first child, a baby boy named Leodis Andrellton Jackson, on Instagram.

The news was accompanied by a series of photos, including one of the couple only 48 hours after becoming parents and another of her newborn son.

In her post, she also revealed that her partner, Darius Jackson, had included the song ‘Someone’ by El Debarge in some of their playlists when they first started dating, and she later sang the song to her son in the car.

Palmer mentioned that her son was born during Black History Month and that his name reflected this.

“Hey Son!!!!” Palmer wrote in the caption. “Born during Black History Month, with a name to match! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo.”

She also joked about not hiding her son from the world, sharing several adorable photos of him.

“I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world.’ Hahaha,” she wrote, adding, “I’m just playing, my baby face is on this slide ... And this slide.”

Fans were quick to congratulate the couple on their new arrival and many commented on how cute the baby looked in the photos.

Palmer confirmed her pregnancy during her Saturday Night Live monologue in December 2022, where she expressed her excitement about starting a family.

“There’s some rumours going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight — I am!”, Palmer exclaimed during her opening monologue, unbuttoning her long jacket to reveal her baby bump.
