Kemi Afolabi Opens Up On Going To Christ Embassy For Deliver

Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi has refuted rumours that she went to Christ Embassy to seek deliverance from the lupus illness that she is currently battling.

She had posted a video donning on hijab and reciting Quran verses via her Instagram.

However, a troll was quick to ask her why she didn't seek a solution from Allah instead of going to church to seek healing.

“Why you no tell ALLAH to heal you then why did you run ti church? Alfa no dey mosque then ma?” the troll wrote.

Responding to this over the weekend, Afolabi said when she first saw a photo of a woman receiving deliverance from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome circulating on the internet with the rumours that it was her, that she paid no attention.

According to her, it was not a crime to visit the church for prayers.

However, she now feels the need to clarify things owing to the troll's recent comment on her Islamic recitation.

She confirmed that the picture circulating is not her, urging the public to disregard it as there was never a time that she attended a church for healing.

She stated that she is a devout Muslim and has a personal relationship with Allah.

“I personally would like to use this medium to debunk such false narrative, never was there a time that I attended a church for healing, the picture circulating online is not me and I want everyone to please disregard it,” her post read in part.

“I have a personal relationship with Allah, I don’t need anyone to get through to him. Love, Light, prayer, support and peace.”
