Kenya: Over 200 Travellers Stranded Over Flight Cancellation

Over 200 Passengers Lamented the cancellation Of their Flight At Kenya Airport.

A section of over 200 travellers heading to the United States of America has expressed their frustrations after Kenyan Airways allegedly cancelled their flights without informing them.

According to the Star, a Kenyan news site, more than 200 passengers travelling to the United States after a long vacation say some of them were scheduled to report to work by Saturday.

"All our luggage had been checked but unfortunately our flights were cancelled abruptly and now we are stranded with nothing to use," said Florence Nanjala.

She disclosed that they attempted to get answers from top management but received none.

Nanjala bemoaned the fact that she had to be at work in a few hours.

According to her, several people were transferred to the Weston Hotel on Lang'ata Road.

They were meant to leave at 6 a.m. on Friday, according to her.

"Attempts to contact Kenya Airways for comment on the situation were unsuccessful because they did not return calls", Star media outlet stated.
