Kenyan Officers Charged With Baby Theft At Hospital

A South African woman will appear In Court on Monday For an allegation of fraud Worth Millions

Two employees of the now moribund Nairobi Metropolitan Service on Friday appeared before a Nairobi court to defend themselves against accusations of stealing three infants.

The babies were eight days, two weeks, and two months old, respectively.

They had been stolen from Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital.

According to the prosecution, this occurred at various times between March and November 2020.

During the mention, the court heard that one of the accused will present unsworn testimony, while his co-accused has stated that she will provide sworn evidence.

They were arrested after an investigation article revealed they received money for the baby theft deal on camera.

During the inquiry, the two unwittingly assisted the crew and undercover police in purchasing the newborns from the hospital.
