Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star, Kiddwaya has inquired why Londoners like to bring gang violence into Afro music.

In a video he shared via his Twitter page on Friday morning, he mentioned that gang violence does not have a place in Afrobeats as the music is all about love, happiness and good energy.

He further stated that Londoners are ruining Afrobeats for people who are just getting into the genre.

“London, I’ve got a serious question; why do you guys like bringing gang violence to Afrobeats?

“All we sing about is love and happiness.

“This whole good vibes, good music, love and happiness, good energy? Stop bringing gang violence to our music in the name of the Lord, I’m begging you.

“We are not about that life. We are just not about that life. Stop it.

“You are ruining Afrobeats for people who don’t know Afrobeats and are just getting into it. Stop ruining it for everyone else.

“London, you’ve got a lot to learn,” he said.

This comes after about four people were hospitalized during a stampede that happened at the final leg of Asake’s concert at Brixton's O2 Academy.

According to reports and several clips sighted online, the singer had started performing when thousands of fans with fake tickets forcefully broke into the venue.

In another clip, hundreds of people are seen packed like sardines in an alleyway adjacent to the venue.

Following the turn of events, police stepped in to shut down the show.
