One of the three farmers kidnapped by unknown gunmen in a farm settlement in Iseyin on Saturday has been killed.
The news of the death of the farmer was made available on Monday evening.
It was gathered that the abductors demanded a ransom to be paid for the release of the three kidnapped farmers before he was killed.
The body of the farmer which was dumped in the farm settlement has been retrieved by security personnel and kept for identification and burial by his family.
The body was dumped at the settlement and caused panic among families and friends of other kidnapped farmers.
While confirming the kidnapping of the farmers in Iseyin on Saturday, the Oyo State Government said it has deployed some security agents to the town to ensure the release of the farmers.
