Killings In Southeast Act Of Sabotage – Indigenous Biafra

The Indigenous Biafra Warriors has decried the rising spate of killings by unknown gunmen in the Southeast describing it as a deliberate attempt to sabotage the self-determination struggle of the Igbo people.

The leader of the group, Ndubuisi Igwekani  alleged that “what we have is ‘political’ unknown gunmen.”

“It’s gunmen manufactured by our enemies to have an instrument of destruction to create the picture that our land is ungovernable.

“The killings in the zone is not perpetrated by our people. It is the enemy who penetrated our forests and the enemy who wants to sabotage what we are doing. It’s part of a ploy to nail Nnamdi Kanu and some of us that started this agitation in 1998.

“We have told our leaders but unfortunately some of them benefit from what is happening so they keep quiet. So it’s a disgrace and shame that someone that took over a position of authority to protect his people will allow enemies to penetrate our territories killing innocent people.

He noted that before the issue of unknown gunmen started, it was Fulani herdsmen, bandits, highway robbers, kidnapping and so on pointing out that today people hide under the cover of unknown gunmen to commit atrocities,” this is unacceptable.

“If our people in authority cannot do anything we will mobilize our people to the various Government Houses and tell them enough is enough.

“Next election we will never allow our enemies to impose anybody on the people. And for anyone to win the election we must know his antecedents.”

Speaking on the continued violence enforcement of sit-at-home on Monday’s Agu Biafra said anyone who says he is enforcing sit-at-home apart from when Nnamdi Kanu is going to court is a criminal and should be treated so.

“Because we cannot destroy the people we came to protect and defend. “

He explained that when the DSS refused to take Nnamdi Kanu to Court, the IPOB Command ordered for sit-at-home to force the government to produce Nnamdi Kanu. Once he was produced in Court sit-at-home was called off.

“It was directed that sit-at-home should only be observed on days Nnamdi will go to Court and it’s been like that.

“So anyone that goes contrary by attacking and destroying people’s property should be treated like a criminal.

“All we are fighting is deprivation, marginalization and deliberate attempt to toy with our future and destiny. But the issue of killing and destroying property, we are not part of it. We will never encourage that.”
