Klopp Labels Manchester United 'Results Machine'

Jurgen Klopp Suffers Defeat To Napoli

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has labelled Manchester United as a "results machine" under new manager Erik ten Hag.

The Red Devils have had an impressive run of games since losing 3-2 to Arsenal in January, with recent triumphs over Barcelona and Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final.

Liverpool, on the other hand, recently regained their footing in the push for a top-four finish, taking 10 points out of the last 12 and finding themselves 10 points adrift of their arch-rivals.

Both teams will lock horns on Super Sunday when Liverpool welcomes United to Anfield.

Ahead of Sunday's clash, Klopp said United is "obviously not a team built up for the next 20 years because of the players they have signed" and how good they're playing at the moment.

"They have turned into a results machine," he continued.

"They are squeezing results out with some really good performances.

"Top football, and if it is not going so well they still get results.

"That's why they are there. Everyone knows it, they are fully in a fight to win the league."

Klopp however noted that he's confident that his players will rise to the challenge at Anfield on Sunday.

"That's not really important for Sunday because we are there as well when we try to be at our best," he added.

"A strong opponent but we all know in football everything is possible and we just have to make sure we are 100 per cent ready and that we want it that bit more than the other guys.

“Let’s use our crowd in the right manner. I’d like to squeeze everything we can out of this season.

"We have to take decisive steps. There are five million reasons I want to win this.”
