Kogi: PDP Media Director Onibiyo Resigns

Kogi: PDP Media Director Onibiyo Resigns

Dayo Onibiyo, the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Director for Media and Communications has resigned from his appointment with the party.

Onibiyo in a letter dated April 17 directed his resignation letter to the State Chairman, Engr. Sam Ohotu.

The decision to resign from the party may not be unconnected with the recently concluded primaries which produced Senator Dino Melaye as the party flag-bearer for the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State.

“I write to appreciate those who counted me worthy to serve in this office, dated back to June 2021, when it has become clear that the party had lost both its voice and image under a sitting P.R.O of the party, whose life was threatened.

“I also thank the party for the way it has treated me for the selfless services I have rendered by sacrificing me on the altar of delegate because of the fear, that I would not do an agenda they have found personal to themselves.

“God bless everyone as one day soon, not too long, we will meet on the field. Please direct as appropriate, who I should hand over to, particularly, the outlets I managed or better still direct it crashed”.
