For those born on February 29, celebrating an actual birthday only comes around every four years. This is the case of sensational singer, Korede Bello who was born on February 29 in 1996.
In a moody photo he shared on Twitter and Instagram, he wrote, “Today was supposed to be 29th but …”

However, this does not stop the Don Jazzy-owned record label ‘Mavin Record’ from celebrating one of their own.

Speaking with Punch's Tofarati Ige, in 2020, on how he feels celebrating his birthday every four years, the ‘Godwin’ crooner said, “I must confess it does make me feel special. I don’t have to feel like I’m getting older every year (laughs). It is truly special to anticipate something for four years. It teaches one a lot about patience and rewards.
"All the birthdays I’ve had have been memorable because I had four years to plan for them."
