The Teaching Service Commission of Kwara State has revealed that about 3,700 teaching and non-teaching staff would sit for the 2022 promotion examination.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Commission's Press Secretary, Olajide Abolarin which noted that the state's Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq had approved the conduct of the examinations for teaching and non-teaching staff of TESCOM in all categories in 2022.
“The promotion examinations, including oral and written tests, will involve 3,700 TESCOM staff who were due for the next cadre as part of Governor AbdulRazaq administration’s commitment to improving the quality of education in the state,” the statement read.
According to the statement, the TESCOM Chairman, Bello Tauheed-Abubakar lauded the Governor for his dedication to workers' welfare in the state, particularly his investment in the education sector.
The chairman noted that the examination and interview schedule would be released in due course.
He advised the TESCOM staff to return the Governor's gesture by committing to duties and partnering with the administration to achieve its education policies.
