Kwara Lawmakers Applaud Governor AbdulRazaq On Minimum Wage

Kwara State House of Assembly Wednesday kicked off debate on the general principles of the N189.4 billion 2022 Budget Proposal.

Leading the debate, the House Leader, Hon. Abubakar Magaji Olawoyin described this year's budget proposal as ambitious, implementable and realistic.

Olawoyin stated that,the budget has 44.7 percent recurrent component and 55.3 percent for capital expenditure.

Other lawmakers in their separate contributions applauded Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for making provision for the implementation of the thirty thousand naira Minimum Wage and the consequential adjustment for workers on grade level 07 - 17 in the budget and other laudable projects in critical sector of the state.
