The Kwara State Government has been commended for its efforts in eradicating examination malpractices in the state
This commendation was made by the Human Resources Manager, West Africa Examination Council, Adesoji Faboro, as a result of Kwara State’s adherence to WAEC standards and guidelines in this just concluded 2020 WAEC.
He stated, saying: “The changing of principals and the involvement of external monitoring team that cut across lecturers from state Colleges of Education was a good initiative which is going to go a long way in the reduction of examination malpractices and enhance the development of the education sector in the state.”

He further urged the Commissioner for Education in Kwara state, Fatimah Ahmed, not to relent and continue this pattern of transparency in future WAEC exams in the state.
Fatimah Ahmed, who was represented by the Director, Curriculum and Assessment in the Ministry, Alhaji Ismail Ibrahim, expressed Mrs.Ahmed’s gratitude in receiving the recognition for the roles she paid in forestalling examination malpractice in the state.
She reiterated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s commitment to continuing the good works they have started in the education sector to provide sound and quality education.
