The Kwara State Ministry of Works and Transport has announced a temporary cloaure of the Yebumot Al-Hikmah from Wednesday January 11, 2023.
A statement by the press secretary Sam Bola Onile disclosed that the closure is effective from 11:00 am.
Onile stated that this is to allow for the commencement of the asphalt laying of the road.
"The Ministry urges road users to make use of other routes for their journeys pending the completion of the asphalt laying.
"The Ministry sincerely regrets the inconveniences this may bring to the residents and users of the road.
“Our goal is to improve the city and make your travel experience better."
