La Liga De-register Gavi As Barca's First Team Player

La Liga has made a significant move in the ongoing "Gavi case," as the organization has withdrawn the first-team registration of young midfielder Javier Tebas from Barcelona.

This follows the 10th Commercial Court of Barcelona's decision earlier this week to reject Tebas' inclusion in the Barça squad, citing the fact that he was registered after the deadline.

As a result, the talented footballer from Los Palacios y Villafranca will remain registered with the Youth A team and will not be able to join the first team until Barcelona reduces its salary bill. While the club's legal services are planning to appeal to the Provincial Court of Barcelona, it appears that Gavi will be forced to finish the season with the number '30' on his shirt.

As it stands, the official La Liga website only lists Sergio Busquets, Pedri, Ferran Torres, Franck Kessie, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Casadó, and Pablo Torre as FC Barcelona midfielders, with the last two being part of the reserve team. While Gavi's absence will be a blow for the Catalan giants, they will have to make do with their current midfield options as they look to maintain their position near the top of the La Liga table.
