A lady early on Saturday morning expressed gratitude to God for saving her and others from death as she survived an accident at Asejire town in Osun.
She revealed that she and other survivors had escaped a multiple car crash on the Asejire bridge into the river on the Ibadan-Ife expressway.
The vehicle they boarded and others skidded off the bridge into the river.
The vehicles involved in the crash were seen in the river.
The news of the accident was brought to public attention through a tweet on social media by Linda Ikeji.
As of the time of this report, the cause of the accident had not been disclosed and it was only first responders who were observed trying to rescue survivors.
Men of the Osun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and the Nigerian Police also had not arrived the scene of the crash.
