A tanker explosion at the Kara area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has left travelers stuck on the bridge.
The explosion occurred in the early hours of Sunday, with many users of the road stuck on the bridge due to the curfew imposed by the Federal Government over the pandemic, in a bid to stem the spread of the virus.
The Federal Government had initiated a 10 pm to 6 am curfew, with those caught outside at that time, unable to make a successful entry out of or into Lagos State, stuck on the road waiting until the roads are open for vehicular movement.
Details of the fire incident still remain unclear.
Some social media users who stay around Ojodu, Berger, and Magodo areas say that a cloud of smoke was visible from a distance.
