Lagos: LCC Fully Committed To Safety Of Road Users

Lagos: LCC Fully Committed To Safety Of Road Users

Lagos is one of the most congested cities in the world. According to Internet Geography, 40% of cars in Nigeria are registered in Lagos.

Apart from Lagosians spending at least three hours in traffic every other day, traffic congestion causes a couple of issues we can better manage by being more aware of our immediate environment at all times.

Because Eti-Osa Lekki-Epe Expressway is one of the hottest traffic spots in Lagos, Lekki Conservation Centre (LCC) has very responsive teams dedicated to route and incident management.

The Route and Incident Management team provides a lot of free value-added services to all road users in the quickest way possible.

Some of the free services that road users along LCC' axes have been enjoying include:

Free Tow Service: LCC offers free tow services to all distressed motorists plying the expressway as part of its added services.

Accident Clearing Management: LCC team effectively coordinates and manages all major/minor incidents in collaboration with the Nigeria Police, Fire service, LASTMA, LASAMBUS, Man O' War, etc.

Recently, there was a side collision between two vehicles at Marwa. LCC Patrol officers managed the incident, helped move the vehicles to a safe place, and ensured the drivers were in good condition to resolve their grievances.

Road Assistance to Distressed Vehicles: LCC team ensures a pleasant experience by responding to distressed calls from motorists seeking assistance such as changing deflated tyres, overheating problems, moving broken down vehicles to a safe place, etc.

For instance earlier this week, LCC helped recover and move one burnt HD crane which was causing traffic congestion at Chisco, along the Eti-Osa Lekki-Epe Expressway.

LCC remains fully committed to the safety of all road users and ensures their men are always on standby to help commuters and motorists along its axes.
