Lagos Police Bust 4 Armed Robbers

The Police Command in Lagos state said it arrested four suspected armed robbers terrorizing and dispossessing residents of Alakuko area of the state and its environs.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspected robbers were arrested on November 24, 2020, at about 12 am with the help of the community members.

He said, “The suspects have been terrorising and dispossessing residents of AMJE Bus Stop, Ajegunle, Masalasi and Dalemo communities in Alakuko Area of Lagos State of their belongings.

”One locally-made pistol with four life cartridges was recovered from them.”

The suspects were identified as Suleiman Babajide, 26; Mustapha Michael, 25; Daniel Gideon, 23; and Olalekan Adesina, 26.

The PPRO also stated that the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered that the suspects be transferred to State CID, Panti, for a thorough investigation, while he charged other police stations and operatives in the command to make Lagos uncomfortable for criminals and miscreants to operate or hibernate particularly during the ‘ember’ months.
