Mohbad
The Lagos State Police Command has released an update on the autopsy conducted on the remains of Nigerian singer Mohbad.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, shared this information in a statement on his official X page.
According to SP Hundeyin, the autopsy was carried out by some of the country’s best forensic pathologists.
Notably, family members of the late singer were present during the autopsy, dispelling rumours that the process might be hijacked by unscrupulous individuals who did not want the singer to receive justice.
The PPRO reassured the public that there was no cause for concern and urged Nigerians to remain calm while awaiting the results of the autopsy.
He emphasised that there were no underhand dealings in the process and that other aspects of the investigation were progressing well.
“As assured by the CP, the autopsy was promptly carried out, by some of the best forensic pathologists in the country, in the presence of family members.
“While we await the result, we urge everyone to remain calm and confident in the process. There is absolutely no underhand dealing, as feared by some concerned persons.
“In the meantime, other aspects of the investigation are progressing well,” Hundeyin tweeted.
