NIgeria Police show of force
The police has arrested two robbery suspects in Lagos state on a mission to rob in Ajah.
The suspects were apprehended along Budo Specialist Hospital Road in the Ajah community of the state.
This was disclosed by the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin.
Hundeyin said the suspects who are aged around 45 each were stopped by suspecting police officers. They were on an unregistered Mercedes Benz saloon when they were arrested.
Following a search by the officers, items were recovered including a Beretta pistol with seven rounds of live ammunition.
“After a search on the suspects and the vehicle, an English Beretta pistol with seven rounds of live ammunition was found in their possession", Hundeyin said.
According to the police, the suspects are members of a notorious cult gang.
