The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has revealed that he is in full support of the #ENDSARS protest which has been on for the past seven days.
Obasa, who said this in reaction to claims alleging that he hired armed thugs to attack protesters, held that he did not and will not disrupt the peaceful protest.

His response was triggered by a tweet of the former minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, who asked the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to investigate him for hiring thugs to attack protesters.
Calling on the Lagos State Government to investigate the allegations Ezekwesili tweeted: "@followlasg @jidesanwoolu please who is Obasa that is alleged as the person hiring thugs to attack #EndSARS #EndSWAT protesters at the Alausa grounds? Please investigate and stop him o. Best not to worsen an already bad situation. Allow citizens their peaceful protests,"
In Response, Obasa who declared his support for the #ENDSARS protest wrote: "Madam @obyezeks , I am Obasa, and I support #EndSARS, I did not and will not disrupt peaceful protest."
