The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello has inaugurated a reconstructed main gate and three blocks of 60 units of toilets for students' use.
The inauguration is part of the activities of the VC's one-year anniversary in office.
According to her, the inauguration which took place on Friday in Lagos State is in fulfilment of the promises she made on the assumption of office.
“Upon my assumption of duty, I promised to construct toilet facilities across the university campuses to make life more comfortable for the learners.
“This reconstruction and inauguration was supported by the university management.
“We dedicate these facilities to the glory of God and use of mankind,” she said.
The ninth VC of the university disclosed that her first year anniversary will take place on September 20 with a public lecture, award of scholarships, and commissioning of other projects.
