The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom state has accused Governor Udom Emmanuel of gifting COVID-19 palliatives meant for the people of the state to members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as Christmas package.
Making this accusation in a statement on Friday, Nkereuwem Enyongekere the state publicity secretary of APC claimed that the palliatives which were donated by a coalition of private sectors were to be shared as relieve materials to residents of the state. Read more here.
Biafra political activist, Nnamdi Kanu, on Monday shared a video of men of the controversial Eastern Security Network (ESN) in a training camp.
In an update on his known Facebook page, Kanu reiterated that the ESN was created to "protect the entire region of Southeast and South-South". Read more here.
The coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Akwa Ibom State, Julius Amusan has described the killing of a man by a serving corps member, as Princess Odum on Sunday night as unfortunate.
