Coronavirus: Mozambique Declares Another Health Emergency

The Mozambican Government has declared another 30 days of health emergency in the country, starting by midnight on Friday, in a bid to check the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Trump's Post Suggesting Children's Immunity To COVID-19 Taken Down By Facebook

Facebook announced on Wednesday that it has taken down a post by US President Donald Trump from his timeline, describing the post as "harmful COVID information."

The post was a video of Trump in an interview with Fox News claiming that children were "immune" to the novel coronavirus. Read more here.

COVID-19: Wearing Face Masks In Church Means Denying The Finished Work Of Jesus - Okotie

The Senior Pastor of the Household of God Church, Pastor Chris Okotie, says wearing a face mask or face shield in church negates the basic foundation of the Christian faith, being the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had announced that religious centres in Lagos can reopen from August 7 after months of closure as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more here.

Abuja Concert: Police Arraign Naira Marley For Violating COVID-19 Interstates Travel Ban

The State Police Command have arraigned Nigerian singer and songwriter, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, in Lagos State Special Offences (Mobile) Court, Oshodi for violating the cessation of movement and interstates travel order in Lagos.

AllNews recalls that Mafo’ crooner on Saturday, July 13  embarked on a non essential travel from Lagos to Abuja and back to Lagos the same date, through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja for a musical concert  held at the Jabi Lake Mall in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. COVID-19 Has Brought Holiness By Fire By Force - MFM Pastor, Dr. Dk Olukoya

The General overseer and Founder of Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministry (MFM) Worldwide, Dr. Dk Olukoya, on Thursday had a session of questions and interaction during a program, called KIAROS, held yearly by the MFM Intl HQ Youth Church.

In the 2020 edition which held Thursday, he was asked about the effects of COVID-19 on man amongst other questions and he replied; saying he nicknamed COVID-19, “HOLINESS BY FIRE BY FORCE” adding that "COVID-19 has been a season that has brought fear, panic, suffering upon a lot of people, its very clear from happenings around us."  Read more here.
