South East Security: Governor Umahi Speaks On Composition Of Ebube Agu, Insists IPOB’s ESN Is Illegal

The governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi on Wednesday vowed to resist attempt by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to frustrate its new security network in the South East region, ‘Ebube Agu’.

Join Forces To Secure Igbo land, Ohanaeze Tasks IPOB’s ESN

The Engr. Chidi Ibeh faction of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, said on Wednesday that the group supports all security arrangements that will curb the nefarious activities and violent killings in the South East by killer herdsmen and other criminals.

The group, according to Vanguard, urged the controversial Eastern Security Network (ESN) to understand that they were fighting a common enemy in killer herdsmen and must eschew bitterness between themselves. Read more here.

We Have No Plan To Attack Banks, Institutions – IPOB

The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has dismissed as rumours the alleged plans by its security network, Eastern Security Network (ESN), to attack banks in the Southeast to forcefully acquire money for the purpose of purchasing arms.
