Palladium seeks a Data Analyst for the five-year, USAID-funded Nigeria Integrated Health Program (IHP) – Task Order 3 Location Ningi. The goal of IHP is to contribute to state-level reductions in child and maternal morbidity and mortality and to increase the capacity of health systems (public and private) to sustainably support quality PHC services.
The purpose of Task Order 3 is to implement priority primary health interventions in Ningi to strengthen the state government area (LGA), and ward level health systems.
The objectives of the program are a) strengthen systems supporting primary health care (PHC) services b) improve access to PHC services; and c) increase quality of PHC services. Strong engagement and collaboration with state government is expected throughout the program.
Task Order 3 will coordinate closely with other USAID activities and other development partner programs in the state. USAID will intentionally overlay this activity with other Mission programming to increase Government of Nigeria (GON) resources for PHC services, increase demand for PHC services, and improve access to essential commodities.

The job purpose is to work with State Project Manager (SPM) to effectively manage project activities and resources, provide leadership and stewardship to the project team and maintain collaborative links with the project’s key stakeholders at the LGA level.
Scope of work
The Program Officer (PO) while reporting to the State Project Manager(SPM) and based at the state office, will line-manage the LGA Field Assistants within his area of coverage.
Key working relationships:
The PO would be line managed by the SPM and would line-manage the LGA Field Assistants in charge of the assigned LGAs (presumably within a specific senatorial zone of a state).
S/he would also maintain relationships with the country office departments, including Finance and Logistics.
Key external relationships would be with staff at the LGA and State Malaria Elimination Programme (SMEP), LGA health staff and leading community members and gatekeepers.
S/he would lead micro-planning, training and coordination, through drug administration and supportive supervision, to reporting of activities at the LGA level. Click to apply
