The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has appealed to Nigerians following the breakdown on the Abuja-Kaduna rail locomotives which happened between November 18 and 20.

The Internal Security and Home Affairs have briefed the Kaduna State Government on how the troops of ‘Operation Thunder Strike’ (OPTS) successfully fight off armed bandits along the Kaduna-Abuja Road on Monday night.
In a recent statement signed by the Commissioner of Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, it disclosed that the armed bandits appeared along the pipeline axis of Kakau general area in an attempt to strike, when troops engaged and repelled them 'with superior firepower'. Read more here.
