Some unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted hundreds of female students from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in the Mando in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
According to the report, the incidents which occurred in the early hours of Friday, March 12, affected only the female students of the school as the male students were not taken. Read more here.
The Kaduna State Government has confirmed that about 30 students, most of which were females, were abducted at the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka, Igabi LGA of Kaduna State.
The state government added that 180 other students were rescued from the gunmen during the incident. Read more here.
The spokesperson to Kaduna State Police Command, Muhammed Jaligeon has confirmed that a bandit was killed on Thursday night and AK-49 was recovered.
Jalige noted that the bandit was killed during a gun duel and his AK-49 assault weapon with two (2) rounds of 7.2mm live ammunition was recovered. Read more here.
