The Job Creation and Empowerment Initiative of the Social Investment Programme (SIP) of the Nigerian Government has banked on the promise by Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development that the details of the exit package for N-Power beneficiaries "will be shared soon".

Batch A N-Power beneficiaries have been exited from the programme last month, while their Batch B counterparts will be pulled out by this month's ending. Read more here.

N-Power Reacts To Report O'Level N-Build Applicants Are Disqualified From 2020 Recruitment

The Job Creation and Empowerment Initiative of the Social Investment Programme (SIP) of the Nigerian Government has dispelled the rumour that those that possess West African Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) and applied for N-Build should count themselves out of the N-Power Recruitment 2020.

The famed scheme via its official Twitter handle on Saturday, in a response to an inquirer, labelled the unofficial information about disqualification of O'Level N-Build applicants "incorrect". Read more here.

N-Power: Reason Nigeria Is Disengaging Batch A, B - Farouq

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq has said "the need to scale up" was why the Federal Government of Nigeria cannot continue keeping approximately N-Power 500,000 beneficiaries in the famed scheme.

Hajia Farouq, in a statement on Saturday in Abuja by Halima Oyelade, her Special Assistant on Strategic Communication stressed that the vision of N-Power scheme was imperative because youth represented 70 million of the Nigerian Population while youth unemployment stood at over 20 per cent with 4.5 million entering the job market annually.
