The Job Creation and Empowerment Initiative of the Social Investment Programme of the Nigerian Government on Wednesday disagreed with the popular notion among N-Power beneficiaries that Sadiya Umar Farouq, the minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development is 'a disaster'.
Roughly 500, 000 beneficiaries of the famed scheme throughout the federation are yet to get paid their April stipend. In fact, AllNews observed that a significant number of beneficiaries (graduate and non-graduates) groan that they were not even paid March stipend. Read more here.

Nigeria's Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq has promised that her ministry will pay the monthly stipends of N-Power beneficiaries 'by early next week'.
