VIDEO: Unidentified Hoodlum Smashes Bottle On Police Officer's Head

A bottle was smashed on the head of a Nigerian Police officer who seems to be on duty on-duty inspecting a truck in a new viral video.

As seen in the 27-second video, the unidentified officer was seen struggling with a man on the truck while a voice from a distance was screaming in Yoruba saying "ede bo le ha!!, bo mo wan lori jor" meaning 'come down, if he doesn't come down, break the bottle on his head. Read more here.

Nigerian veteran singer, 2Baba, has aired his frustration at the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) over a malfunction in its portal which left him, alongside other Nigerians stranded at the airport.

The award-winning artiste shared a video on his Instagram and explained that he and other travellers had paid the sum of N50,000 for the compulsory COVID-19 arrival test on the agency’s portal but were unable to receive the QR code that was required to generate the Covid-19 test result. The photo and video-sharing social networking service introduced a new way for people to further shield themselves from harassment in their direct messages, especially in message requests by way of a new set of words, phrase and emojis that might signal abusive content, which will also include common misspellings of those key terms, sometimes used to try to evade the filters. An Oyo State Amotekun Corps operative, Suleiman Quadri was killed on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, after an ambush by unknown assailants.
