The Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) in Kwara State has revealed the dates for the conduct of the 2022 promotion examinations and interviews for its teaching and non-teaching staff.

Nigerian Petroleum Regulatory Authority Denies Plans To Increase Petrol Price

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) says the Federal Government has advised Nigerians against panic purchase of increasing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) as there is no plan to increase price this festive period.

The General Manager, Corporate Communications, NMDPRA, Kimchi Apollo said this through an advisory after speculations the price of petrol is about to shoot up. Read more here.

Mac Allister, Alvarez Save Argentina As Messi Misses Penalty

Alexis Mac Allister and Julian Alvarez came to Argentina's rescue to progress into the last 16 of the World Cup as Group C winners after a 2-0 victory over Poland on Wednesday after Lionel Messi missed a penalty.

Airbus Developing Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Engine For Aircraft

Airbus has announced the creation of an aviation-specific hydrogen fuel-cell engine as part of its objective to have zero-emission aircraft in operation by 2035.

In contrast to Rolls-recently Royce's unveiled jet engine, which burns hydrogen directly, this system uses an electric motor similar to that seen in fuel-cell vehicles and emits only water. Read more here.

Access Holding Plc Gets Approval To Begin Operation In France

Access Holdings Plc has revealed that the group has obtained approval to commence operations in France.

South Africa: Children Amongst 11 Injured In Auto Crash

Eleven people, including two children aged four and 13, were injured while a woman was ejected in a collision after the brakes on the minibus taxi they were travelling in failed in Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal.

Court Remands Drug Barons In Lagos

Five alleged drug barons have been remanded in prison custody by a Federal High Court in Lagos.
