Chibok Girl Rescued By Military Troops In Borno

A Chibok girl identified as Ruth Bitrus has reportedly been rescued by troops of 21 Army Armoured Brigade Bama, Borno State.

Ruth escaped from Boko Haram captivity in Sambisa forest with her child eight years after she and others were abducted from their school in Chibok town, Borno State on April 14, 2014. Read more here.

Ekweremadu: Immigration, Banks Ordered By Court To Release Ukpo's Details

The Immigration Service and three banks have been ordered by a Federal High Court in Abuja to immediately release the details of David Ukpo to detained Senator Ike Ekweremadu to defend himself in the United Kingdom.

Ukpo is the young man at the centre of the organ harvesting case and the court order was given on Friday by Justice Inyang Ekwo while delivering judgment in the suit instituted by Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice. Read more here.

A member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Maina Waziri, has denied reports that Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, met with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in France.
