FIFA Increases Country Player Selection To 26 For Qatar World Cup

World football governing body FIFA will allow countries to select up to 26 players for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, increasing the maximum squad size by three for the competition in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Voters Registration: INEC Debunks Extension Reports, Says Deadline Still In-Play

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has denied extending the voters registration exercise, describing reports to the contrary as false.

It was previously reported that Aishatu Jibril Dukku, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Electoral Matters, disclosed that the commission agreed to extend the ongoing exercise by 60 daysRead more here.

Owo Church Massacre: Ondo Amotekun Apprehends Suspects

The Commander of the Ondo State Security Network Agency also known as Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye, has said the suspected killers of worshippers at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state have been arrested.

Ekweremadu: Former Deputy Senate President, Wife Arrested By UK Police For Human Trafficking

Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice Nwanneka have been reportedly arrested by the UK police for human trafficking and organ harvesting.
