NAF Disowns Online Admissions Into Medical School

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has dismissed an online notification of admission into National Diploma/Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) Nursing Programmes for the 2023/2024 Academic Session at NAF School of Medical Sciences and Aviation Medicine (NAFSMSAM), Kaduna.

The Director, Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa, in a statement on Tuesday, described the said online admission notification as “spurious and fraudulent”. Read more here.

Cadbury Nigeria Plc Records N1.2 Billion Profit

Cadbury Nigeria Plc has released its 2022 audited financial result, reporting a profit before tax of N1.29 billion, which represents an 18 per cent increase from the N1.097 billion the company recorded during the same period in 2021.

During the period under review, the company recorded a revenue of N55.21 billion, a 30 per cent increase from the N42.37 billion recorded in the previous year. Read more here.

EU To Quit Selling New Petrol, Diesel Car In 2035

The European Union member states on Tuesday passed an emissions law that would prevent the EU from selling any new vehicles or vans that release carbon dioxide beyond 2035.
